VFC SCAR hop unit fix - use two piece M4 hop units!
 

I'm a big fan of the SCAR platform, but not so much for VFC's SCAR, and the terrible, terrible hop unit. I've heard two piece M4 hop units will work on it, and gave it a shot. Results below:

Damn, wish I saw this before I picked up a prowin. When I have some free time I plan to attempt this. I have a spare lower and mag catch.

I actually done that before as a temporary fix, it does work well.

vfcs don't like prowins.. they have issues feeding

Ya I've heard and seen that before. I messaged the creator of the tutorial and he said it works well and he's done it for others. Might as well give it a shot.
