Ballistic Goggle/Glasses with Prescription Lenses
I recently picked up a set of Revision Sawfly ballistic glasses with the RX carrier. I'm now shopping around to get a good price on the prescription lenses, and I would very much appreciate it if you guys can share how much your optometrist charged for your prescription.
I just dropped by a local store and they quoted me $150 which is more than I paid for the Sawfly kit. Does anyone have any feedback on this? Even better, would anyone be able to recommend a place within the GTA that can offer a more competitive price? Thanks in advance. |
Pm Duckman.

I paid about $125 for the rx lenses in my ESS Ice

Paid $100, single vision for my Revision Rx set.

Thanks coach, I got in touch with Duckman via PM.
Horto & Darklen: thanks for the feedback, I did some more research online as well and found that Revision can provide lenses to military clients for $100 so the price isn't too far off. I'll look around some more to see if the prices vary at all, I'll post an update once everything is finalized. In the meantime, more feedback and suggestions are definitely welcomed. |
Quick update, I got my lenses for the Revision RX Carrier from a local optometrist, so I'm all set for eye protection.
Duckman mentioned in his PM that the lenses are pretty close to your eyes, which I also found to be the case for myself as well. Not a huge issue for me as my prescription isn't that strong, but it's something to keep in mind if you are thinking of going this route. Also thanks to Tier One Tactical for assisting with getting me the RX Carrier bridge for my Desert Locust free of charge, I posted up a review for them here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...02#post1719602 |
Got my lenses and the Revision RX carrier for $100 shipped at Opticsplanet.com
