Kinda hard to reduce with a CO2 powered gun, are you sure there is no adjustment on it?

Is there threads on the end of the barrel? Do you think this would work?

Apparently it might affect accuracy a little, though.

It also does not work with gaz guns.

It says on the product page that it works by pushing the BB through a "wiper." Wouldn't that affect it at all?

It basically needs a certain amount of pressure to build behind the valve to open.
With gaz guns, the valve opens instantly, as soon as the BB starts moving.
In an AEG, the pressure is high enough only at about 50% travel.

A velocity reducer is not an acceptable way to drop the FPS. No game around here lets you play with just that to reduce FPS. It's not reliable and degrades very fast. AND it destroys accuracy. The OP wants to lower the FPS of a sniper rifle.

The more you know, eh? Thanks for the info.

nah, no way of lowering it that i can find. ive taken the bolt apart and it might need a weaker spring that activates the release of co2. also if its compatible with tm r another brand of vsr 10 then ill buy a spring bolt and keep the co2 bolt for winter games.

Downgrading co2 sniper.. i feel the need to point out that all snipers actually run on oxygen, not co2. If you tried to run a sniper on co2 he would be dead within minutes.

What purity of oxygen would be required for a sniper to run efficiently?

What would be an ideal pressure rating for it to run at? :)

Deadpool April 9th, 2012 19:45

Not too pure, because then he would suffer from oxygen toxicity and the he would die too.

(disclaimer: do not ever use oxygen instead of propane in a sniper RIFLE. it could explode and injure or worst, kill you. all these things about oxygen is meant as a joke.)
