Black Hawk Down impression (2nd attempt)
 

My 2nd attempt at the Ranger look from Black Hawk Down, a really fun loadout. This game my mate Andy also took his for a spin, very satisfying to have 2 Rangers running about instead of just myself!

I bungie-corded up my M16A2/M203 which I highly recommend, you can drop for pistol drawing to your side and it can brought up to your shoulder to fire due to its elacticity without adjusting the strap. For the Nelson look I had 2 ALICE clip SAW pouches on my belt.

I also have a USMC medical pouch (which Rangers had borrowed or traded with the USMC who were in the Mog before them), M9 in its holster, radio with mic, carbiner with repelling gloves, compass pouch, 2 canteens and the alice pack.

I also have a very close plate carrier (not quite 100%) but close enough. Comfy and has the right Woodland camo pattern.

The grenade vest is a nice item I picked up on the cheap, perfect for the 40mm grenades obviously and for other items like flashbangs and pistol mags.

tell your friend to police them shoelaces lol...they are distracting from an otherwise good impression!

Thanks for the feedback! I already dusted up the kit with a drybrush of desert yellow acrylic paint, but it obviously needs more if you cant see it!

Yeah, I keep pestering him about policing his laces!

The rest looks too clean. Especially the BDUs and knee pads. nice impression though.

Yeah, I think I need to wait till high Summer (if such a thing exists in Scotland) and have a roll about in the dust!
