VFC M4 gearbox
 

Hey guys, here is my issue:

I have gotten this M4 down to the gearbox but now I have no idea how to get it open because of the ambi fire selector gear, it seems to be holding the whole thing together. Does anyone know how to get this thing off?

EDIT: i think i figured it out. I just took a punch to it and a pin came out releasing the gear from one side.

yes that is correct you just punch the pin out
