Silicone Oil Alternative?

I recently bought 3 mid cap AK mags but I don't have any silicone oil for them (they need to be lubed or they jam) or any store within 100km that sells any. So is there any alternative to silicone oil I can lube up my mags with?

Airsoftparts.

Ok is anyone else gonna give me an alternative or just suggest places for me to buy it?

Your best bet will be to open the mags up and get rid of any burrs or crappy plastic mold lines with a file or sand paper. I don't usually recommend oil in your mags since after your mag it goes into your hop up and then ruins your shot consistency(or can atleast)

The store I got it from said they need to be lubed because as of now, the bbs bind with each other about 3 shots in.

Ill make no representations regarding it's "huffability" but I expect it will make you stoned in a "I'm trying to kill myself" kind of way

Won't jigaloo attack the rubber of the hop-up? I tought all those products were to avoid for AEG and GBB...

Girock January 24th, 2011 13:25

Anyway You dont have to make test with other lub !
It takes 3 days to get some silicone oil from a Canadian retailers.

mr_nuts31 January 24th, 2011 13:35

another option you can is silicone lube from a sex shop since those are designed to be safe on rubber, it sounds silly but it works

Jig a Loo is silicone lubricant.. it's safe for rubber .. but you don't want any lube on your hopup anyway.. just use it where it's needed.. I poke a shot into the mags.. and let em dry .. works good

non greasy .. leaves a dry slick film.. excellent for Magazines ( also good for the recoil spring in an AR buffer Tube )

I also use it to displace water in the WE trigger group ( and in Trigger groups of my RS as well)
