Retailer - Airsharp

I ordered some M14 parts from Airsharp just before the new year. Things went very smoothly, with all my emails being answered quickly - until I gave him my credit card information.

Once that happened, all communications ceased and I have not received any response to my inquiries. I will be filing a dispute w/ Visa shortly over this matter.

Airsharp has an account on this board by the handle of "KillBucket" - I advise caution in dealing with this individual.

Good to know, since I get people asking me for advice on retailers often. Mostly my answer is "dunno" since I'm more in the habit of using guns and buying parts than I am buying guns and parts from unknown sources.

thanks for the info man, i was about to order some stuff from them.

A guy at worked ordered a watch from the back of a Scientific American or something. He never got the watch, but a call from the (Ohio?) police about 6 weeks later, telling him he was a victim of identity theft. They found all his info, as well as a bunch of others with this woman who was selling the watches.

Watch out if to "verify" the person asks for much more than your credit card number! For most people, this is common sense!

This wasn't an order from the back of a magazine, but from an american retailer w/ an apparently good track record in the states.

That's shitty, I too was going to order M14 parts from them. Oh well, one less customer.

I dont mind when people quote me for their sigs, but Im not an advertising whore. Im going to have to politely ask him to not associate me.

I've ordered some stuff from him and have not had any issues.

Looks like they have a brand new site up. That's probably why it wasn't responding earlier.

Killbucket March 22nd, 2008 23:45

An all-new site is under way. 100% of our products will be re-introduced as fully CNC'd, state of the art assemblies.
The order was shipped Jan 8th. USPS, according to customer's specific request.
USPS does not provide tracking, but UPS does.
I have no control over Customs. We no longer market to Canada.
The order was shipped in good faith.

Why wouldn't you have tracking numbers on the orders?

First line is a business plug, then a whiny bitch "we no longer market to Canada"

Your attitude really shores up your position as a fucking asshole.

Nice to see the last of you cockbreath.

+1... Oh and by the way USPS can provide a tracking number to Canada I've tracked many a parcel. I think your full of shit and trying to use this as a convenient excuse to take money and say "not my fault, lost in the mail" blah blah blah, any retailer worth his salt would either pony up a replacement or fork over a refund. If customs had seized said item Kokanee would have gotten a notice.

Edit,
Oh and one hiccup and your gonna cut bait and run, something smells fishy here.

Kokanee March 23rd, 2008 09:06

I'll take him at his word that he shipped it - it's all I can do. However it's the ignoring my emails for two months that I have a problem with. I only got a reply when I posted publicly here on the boards.
