Marui P226 FMU 2T (56K Beware) ... NINEBALL Under Mount Rail added
Marui Sig Sauer P226 Full Metal 2T

Finish is superb and uniform (better than the PGC Hi-capa slides IMO). And no modifications required for installation. I don't plan to run a suppressor on it, so I can't give much input on the barrel adaptor. It is made from aluminum though, which is a plus. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1279.jpg http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1280.jpg Trades look good (to me anyway :D ) http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1284.jpghttp://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1286.jpg Front sight mounts on no problem. It's a little tricky to get that retainer back on, I used the smallest tipped screwdriver I could find. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1282.jpghttp://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1287.jpg A minor problem I encountered was getting the blowback assembly to sit flush inside. (It must sit flush or the slide won't slide on the lower frame.. tolerances are pretty tight). What I did was used a 4mm punch and a small hammer and *gently* tapped it down.. little by little.. I must've of tapped it 25 times.. ;) Lubed her up nice, and tested it with 2 mags. Both running propane, one with stock valve, the other with a KM hi-flow valve designed for the Marui M9 series (uses the same valve as the P226). The stock mag had problems cycling, it would shoot a couple then release all gas out. :( Maybe it just needs to be worked in. With the upgraded mag, it shoots like a dream. Shoots hard, crisp blowback and recoil, nice ROF. Shoots better than my upgraded Hi-CAPA. Sucks on gas though, I get only about 15-20 shots per mag fill. One plus was the slide stop on empty mag feature works, unlike on my Hi-capa it doesn't stop... EVER! And after 5 mags the stock piston lid (cup, head, whatever you want to call it) is holding just fine. If it does crap out I have a few Guarder Enhanced Piston Lids on the way. They're only $3 USD each btw, there's nothing holding the piston lid securely in place. It's just sits snugly on the screw at the back of the blowback mechanism. :smack: Conclusion Overall very happy with the finished product in terms of looks and quality. A little disappointed at the performance since it won't work with a stock mag but I can live with it... for now. Will shoot a little video and upload it to my ASC page when I have some time. Will update this thread with follow-up feedback as time goes on.... ------------------------------------------------------------- NEW NINE BALL Under Mount Bases Strike Mount http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1381.jpg http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1382.jpg Under Mount only http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1383.jpg http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1384.jpg http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1385.jpg |
Sweet pistol Jugz!
So how much did that run you in total? Once I get My shotty working My next gun is gonna be a P226 with the full metal body. |
Thanks man, run me about $750 CDN including the GBB.
|
Very sexy, very sexy indeed, God... I don't wanna think of what that's chronying at.... I'd love to see a vid of it shooting though.
|
-_-
gosh... thats one sexy P226 2T.
So is that lovely MP5!!!. gj mate. :kill: |
Awesome!
|
That gun is so damn nice
|
God damn thats nice, i've been looking at recreating that. You did say it was FMU however the lower frame appears to be the stock plastic one. Do you have one of those on order as well because im intrested as to the various qualities of all these brands making P226 frames and such.
|
WOW
beautiful gun great pics too. ouch on the upgrade price but hey it must be a dream to shoot with once you get the mag prob fixed. |
Beautiful.
Though it sucks how you can read "Made in Japan" so clearly on the mag and frame. Damn proud Japanese. |

Hey good eye. I would've went with one however I'm not at all impressed at any of the options out there. The Prime kit doesn't include a metal barrel, and is $375 USD at most of the Asian retailers. $375 USD!!!! The PGC kit that just came out is $238 USD and needs a lot of work, and I'm already not a big fan of PGC slides... the Guarder kit looked the most promising at $120 USD however no metal barrel included, you have to paint it yourself, and the sides of the blowback assembly needs to be sanded down alot, which would probably render it useless if you ever decide to put it back in the original slide. It also isn't available yet either. Also you'll make alot of new friends at Canada Customs if you try to get a pistol frame across the border. :D Everyone else, thanks for compliments. |
Thats a beautiful lookin sidearm there! damn i wish i came over couple of days after so i could have seen this! DAMMMMIIITTT! :banghead:

Thats a beautifull lookin sidearm there! damn i wish i came over couple of days after so i could have seen this! DAMMMMIIITTT! :banghead:
|
WOW, I fell in love with that gun.
But the price is killing me. I'll settle for my ordinary KJW M9  |
impressive
very nice work |
Nice work Jugglez! Now if only CanadaPost would show up tomorrow with my slide and barrel kit you sent me..... then I could post pics of almost the same upgrades but in black :P
Did you not also get in houge replacement grips like the ones I ordered through you back in August? Or did you opt out of the modifications required and go with the slip on option instead? |
very nice indeed!
|
That is very nice, can I ask where you sgot the slip on grip from???
|
Quote:
Actually man, I still have it sitting here. I just like the feel of that grip and haven't bothered with the other one. |

I thought there was an issue or 2 with installing the hogue full-handle replacement grips anyway... check the original 226 threads.
Looks great... didn't expect 2 tone on the sig. |
It just needs some work to fit, I'll get it around to doing it sooner or later and post pics.
|
you know what you have to do now right? make jack bauer's sig: link- see bottom of page
|
Man that looks awesome
An update, I stripped her down again and put the stock hammer spring back in... the problems are now solved!!!! YEAH!!! :D Shoots nice... seems the Guarder hammer spring is too stiff, and i wasn't about to wait for it to soften up. Perhaps the Proud hammer spring would be a better solution? The stock spring performs well though so i think i'll stick with it for now. btw, i've uploaded a video of it in action... check the first post. |
You know, it's real nice. Just like the one in Bad Boys 2, Marcus handgun. Real nice job man. Real nice. I own a P226 and you make me cry when I saw this !
 :kill: |
Thanks. Haven't seen that movie yet. I'lll have to check it out.
|
2 Attachment(s)
you inspired me to get the same gun damn it.
i think i will polish the metal exteriors as well as see below... great stuff! thanks. :D |
Any idea how you'll be polishing them?
|
Quote:
will keep you updated with pics and posts. |
So wait, you sold your P226.. saw this thread then went out and bought another P226? :D
|
hell ya!
btw you gotta teach me how you take your killer pictures all the time...is it all in the camera or photoshop as well. |
I have wanted a P226 for a few weeks.
After seeing this thread I want one even more....Anyone have one for sale? |
if you are age verified post in the wanted section. if not get age verified and check back later.

That's all lighting and angles... no image manipulation. The camera isn't even that good. I'm using a Canon Powershot SD10 Digital Elph 4.0MP .... Clean the lens up *good* before each photosession, make sure you've got a nice flood of light coming from the front (you'll notice most of my shots are in front of a window, on a sunny day) and snap away  I also leave most of the settings off or on auto. |
i got the s400 digital elph 4 MP....my problem i gather is from artificial lighting...and for the love of god i cant find a decent backdrop if i wanted to... :smack:
|
Hey any problems with the hammer release when you put the gun back together? Mine seems to be rubbing against the grip plate, it works, just not very smoothly, any suggestions?
|
Check to make sure part no. P226-61 is positioned properly up inside the mechanism.. there's no guide or stopper to indicate proper positon that i know of, you just sorta have to wing it until the hammer release works the way it should.
Took me some fiddling but I did figure it out... http://tech.airsoftcanada.com/TM/TM%...26diagram4.jpg |
You can align part 61 by just looking down the back of the hammer from the outside/top. Shine a light in. You'll see a silver horizontal bar. That's where #61 connects.
|
Got it working properly, thanks!! Tried it with Green Gas and 134a, the first mag with 134a worked fine, then it stopped cycling properly. With green gas everything seems normal though, guess 134a can't handle the extra spring tension.
Now I gotta wait to pick up my creation slide :D |
Here's some pics of my p226 with new Nineball Under Mount Bases: the Strike/meatbasher version and the regular version.
Strike Under Mount http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1381.jpg http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1382.jpg Under Mount only http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1383.jpg http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1384.jpg http://www.airsoftcanada.com/members...6/Img_1385.jpg Have a couple for sale if anyone is interested. |
The meatbasher looks good but the regular one not so much IMO
|
how is the fit with the strike under mount?
does the slide hit it hard after being fired? will it damage the slide after a while (dents, chips, whatever)...? also, STOP upgrading....im tired of pulling out my mastercard to follow your lead! ;-) |
It fits quite good even with the aftermarket slide. there's a little adjustment screw to prevent the slide from slamming into the meatbasher.
Sorry I couldn't help it. :D |
Bastard, I didnt realize you got your masher in before I did!!!
lol, well now I really need to get my gun all together to post the pics...... damn you Jugglez..... |
don't worry, kip. it's on it's way... hehehe. in due time...
btw, UNCompany has Guarder metal slide/receivers in today. |
|
UNCompany also has Creation's STEEL slide/outer barrel as well. Imagine the blowback that sucker will have.
The price.... is NOT pretty though. :( $270USD!!! |
Yeah I saw that kit last week on their site. You can buy another P226 for that price :D
|
you can buy 4 P226 for the price of the Prime metal kits. :D
So when are you going to turn yours into a Jack Bauer one? with silvered bits? I want to see someone do it ... maybe i'll do it. with a steel slide kit. |
I'd take the 4 P226's thank you very much :)
Some dude on arnies has already done it. Looks killer. |
BTW, for those on a budget. Action recently released a metal slide/barrel kit for $60 USD... crazy!!! It's very similar to the Creation kit. Dentrinity has it listed.
|
WGC has the action metal slide, AND lower receiver for $118usd. mad deals.
wgc description: - Suitable for Marui P226 - Heavy weight alloy for realistic feel and powerful blowback |
action slide and frame is nono. quality is really bad when you see the real thing. all the edges on the 226 is rounded........................
i recommand pgc, no fitting is needed. just change the internals and go. only thing needed to mod is the slide release, but easily done with a wedge in 15 min. |
Quote:
Man the trades on that looks sweet...... **Disclaimer.... to those who are reading this post.... between Jugglez and Illusion your next 4 paychecks are going to be absorbed..... damn I love these 2 guys.... now to go and make some more money to give to them  |
hi
How did you manage to get the slide in to Canada isn't illegal.
|
Metal slides are legal. Frames are restricted, however if you get age verified there are some floating around.
