Just when you thought your wallet was safe...

Ya, the problem in life is that there's always something better, cooler, greater... and more expensive!
|
Don't want, they still didn't fix that ugly forge mold seam....look at 2nd picture at the magwell.
|
Don't want, rather save money for the RS GBBR.
|
Ya, the infamous mold seam lol I still didn't decided if in, globaly, affect the quality of gun. For me, a forged receiver, even with a mold seam, is better then a die-cast receiver without it.
By the, I notice that my new VFC M4A1 GBBR has also this mold seam, but it's thinnier. |
1350$us for the M16A4 and 280$us for the super bolt alone. $2000 for upgrades and repairs to make it reliable, but its ok its only $6.00 for tylenol for your headache. lol.

Anyone sell this in Canada? |

the bolt retention design is the same as all the other failed attempts.. no thanks. can anyone say "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle".. it's like a reoccurring nightmare. manufacturer releases new gun, claims to be new and improved. design is unchanged, so the same issues from the first gen WAs are still there. the sheeple got nuts, claim that this time they have fixed the problems and chew out anyone who criticizes their purchase. page after page of new topics pop up in the trouble shooting section of forums around the world, with the same complaints from two years ago. 3rd party manufacturer re-releases so called "improved parts" to fix the known issues, which fix nothing. more new posts in the trouble shooting section. apologetics blame the users for their problems, and think that replacing most of the internals every few weeks is normal and part of the design. rinse, repeat... pathetic. waiting on the next release. not expecting any change. |

i care not what materials they use, if the engineering behind the system is bad, the product will fail. |
Well, I like it, but the price is extremely high.
I wish they would stop releasing their guns with RIS systems by default. I'd prefer high quality handguards. Anyway... I'm with T@NK. I'll wait for the RealSword. Will be cheaper and should be better. |

But by the, except the WE close chamber, for now, you can only goes with th WA design because, well, there's nothing else ^^ |

So the brand/config that seems to be better is WE's open bolt system. It went through a real life exercise earlier as reported by Brian. |

closed bolt = reliability and at 1300$ I'll wait for a RS gbbr or a reliable full size AK |

of course it depends on why you buy the guns. For me it's about performance and effective simulation of the real firearm for training purposes. For others its about sitting in their basement in their underwear racking the bolt while a little bit of spittle leaks out of the corner of their mouths. |
Although it looks pretty.. The only one I am interested in checking out/owning besides the WETTI would be the real sword m4 GBBR (As previously stated in this thread)... whenever they release that is! This is mainly due to the quality of the upper/lower I've been hearing so much about.
As it stands, WETTI's seem to be quite the work horse, and that's really what draws me towards the platform. F*ck it, maybe I'll just try and get both. |

What brings you to this conclusion? edit / thread jack -alex |

More moving parts = more parts to break Still won't bite the closed nozzle system. It's not my taste, I like crisp cycling (WE closed chamber seem to be like sluggish) |

Back on topic though: Inu's are not worth the money when the much more reliable WEs are so much cheaper. |

airsofters complain about reliability.. but still want "cool" ,LE\MIL want robust reliable training tools |
I agree with the comments on the WETTI closed bolt system. The only two problems I have had, is I did not add enough oil to the propane to keep the bolt functioning smoothly, obvious user fault, and the pin holding the roller on the hammer came loose, user fault as I did not catch it by closely inspecting each part. Even with those two malfunctions, the weapon was still functioning, not as smoothly, but still functioning.
From what I have read about the WA based systems, parts wearing out quickly for one example, as well as constant attention to the weapon to keep it runing some of the time? I don't think I would bother with that. I want a reliable system that will keep working regardless of exposure to the elements, and physical abuse, this goes the same with the magazines as well. So far my WE has not let me down due to design, but due to operator error, that was later rectified and learned from. |

Bastards + basic maintenance + WE (rifle) = fucking Jesus gun Also, I like my closed bolt, sometimes you get a flash of the brass colour, kinda like a shell ejecting :P |

Guys can we get back to topic? This is become another WE system bashing at KJ and WA.
Seriously people aren't going to change their side, suck it up. |
Yes you are absolutely right, let's get back on topic.
