Can I get Ninja added to my name? I need to be silent and shoot far too!

airsoft_ninja April 27th, 2011 10:00

i also no hand signals good to. so i can tell what people are planning on doing

Boyso April 27th, 2011 10:01

Before knowing hand signals, you should clearly learn grammar.

Anyway, I'm done with the Off-topic-ness.

My pet Peeve, Oxygen thieves .. like Airsoft_ninja ..

FACE April 27th, 2011 10:59

^^ LOL.

L473ncy April 27th, 2011 11:43

Ohh. I got a good one. Kids who can't get their stories straight.

@Airsoftninja: I'm not overweight at all (although I may be a nerd given that I'm pro at Computer Science and stuff) and I'd have no problem looking you in the eye and saying you're a retard. In fact I've already done that to a few people. If you're an idiot you're going to get called out on it. If you really are 19 then just deal with it.

Boyso April 27th, 2011 11:49

Another Pet peeve of mine. New players that keep saying they can't get AV'd since they live too far from the AV'er.

If you can't meet someone at a Timmy, you can't play.

And most of the AV'ers are most likely playing there too.

If i can type it properly on my Blackberry then you can take the time to type it properly on your keyboard...

Not to be an ass, but your post is all about having proper grammar and spelling and such, while it is full of mistakes. I found 7 mistakes, including the legendary "your/you're" mistake. I could care less about spelling and grammar in a regular post, but I had to point it out to you considering the context.

So...pet peeves...
1. People who don't call hits

That's about it. I can get over everything else as most people have good intentions...but not calling a hit is just plain douchery.

Also, this being ALMOST a peeve: people who think they are the shit for dressing like a soldier and carrying a fake gun. It's a game, not the army. I get that there is a realism factor to it (what makes it fun!), but drop the frowny face and have some fun!

naminator April 27th, 2011 12:19

1. People who don't call there hits when you know they got hit.
2. When my pistol jams mid stand off vs a guy with an AEG (happened two or three times)
3. People who take this game too seriously.

Brian McIlmoyle April 27th, 2011 12:25

#1 . People who complain about people not taking hits, in one breath and then complain about people taking the game "too seriously" in the next.

Jimski April 27th, 2011 12:34

let's just define what 'too serious' is

Not calling hits takes the fun out of the game for everyone. It doesn't matter how casual a player you are. When you pepper a guy 20 feet away from you. Hear him swear and shake his hand from the welt he just got, and then watch him run away, it's very discouraging to keep playing.

naminator April 27th, 2011 12:40

I know of a few player who have stormed off the field and raced off in anger. If it was because something didn't go the way they wanted, or they had a shitty day of shooting ect.

As for not calling your hits I understand your gear eliminating the feel of a hit. I have been hit in weird spots, thought I wasn't but called myself out to avoid both a face full of bb's and not being invited back to airsoft the next year, since I play on a private field.

I am talking about people you obviously hit not calling them.

Oh another pet peeve.

Getting hit in the face (Not your fault if it was the only target I presented, I know what I signed up for) but it still hurts like a mother.
My goggles fogging up.
