ya, finally. we still have our combat cap and bonnie hats on their way. the chinese custom had held on them for a while.

Can't wait to wear something more updated than Type 65 :p

I think tank told me that the vest is just the type 2 airborne vest done up in type 07 camo.

Similar structure, but the panel is much smaller than the one on 02 vest, also got some molle stripe on it. I am still trying to figure it out what to attach on this panel.

I am basically wearing:
- Real Issued BDU's & Helmet Cover
- Real Oakley Pilot Gloves
- Real Asian Fit Desert Locust with Fan :P (I should have went ESS, maybe in the future :P)

get a real combat vest, thats gonna make you look better, the Taiwan army is switching to their new digital bdu right now, so shouldn't be too difficult to get the old woodland vest.

Haha it's actually been pretty hard to find the main combat vest, apparently the surplus stores don't have them, and G&P did make replicas which are discontinued. The Desert version is being sold for really cheap though... I've asked a few friends to look for me haha since my Chinese isn't the best but yeah...

The one I got is the only one I could find in Taiwan ERDC Camo, as everything else seems to be only available in American Woodland too.

Gonna go with those other light vests eventually though for mobility like what this guy is wearing.... (I can get away with OD or Woodland :P)

I have so far only found one place that sells the new digital bdus in Taiwan, but yeah pricey compared to their regular EDRC :P (I prefer the ERDC look more anyways)

My other choice was to use the older setups... Just bought my H-Harness, gonna use current pouches for now, have to wait till I get a chance to go back or someone comes back to get some of those pouches or something.

Chinese kit makes me shudder .... while not an issue for airsoft as much, there's CLEARLY a disregard for their troops wellbeing and survivability :P
