I don't know about the in-game model though, I haven't actually played the game to know for sure. It's an awesome detail though!

I can't remember the storyline, but multiplayer is a "nickel-plated" style 1911.

Thats just the multi player / zombies. In the single player they use a pretty pretty beat up versions of the 1911.

I kind of just threw a bunch of parts together to get this, and now I am stuck on how to paint it. What style does everyone think would look good? Its currently a toss between Digital Woodland and a more natural camo pattern using leaves and ferns and such. Otherwise, I am going to just go solid one tone.

My vote, leave her as is but remover the scope and put a doctor red dot or micro aimpoint on the upper handguard rail

I'd paint it in a mix of sand colour and coyote brown. Once the used look get installed, it will look special force shit cool.
