want to know where to get guns, so that their parents can buy and "own" them and only let them use the guns under "strict supervision"

I don't see anything 'terribly' wrong with that..

It's because most parrents these days consider strict supervision to be letting their kids do whatever the &^$( they want and when they want and only supervise once something goes wrong

well because:

1. the price of airsoft guns today is one thing, the price of airsoft guns 4 years from now is another, they only say they plan to save but they want something right now in reality

2. the whole parental supervision thing is a big fat lie, and only a means of skirting the 18+ rule, we all know that nothing of the kind is likely to happen (supervision that is)

YouTube - Airsoft game - Leroy Jenkins Charge

My only pet peeve is being 6'4" and being too large for a lot of the equipment I'd like. :( I'm sure in a year I'll be raging about other things, though.

Ha!, good to see our charge is famous.

Pisses me off how users here would ask about products and such about it in the retailers' thread.
There is a thing called Private Messages, Click user => Send a Private Fucking Message.
There's no need to bring up a thread about asking about this and that..

Thank goodness for that my friend, definitely PMs first are the way to go

Retailers can lock their threads if they don't want traffic in them. Some guys don't do that and the inevitable happens.

... When I get a brand new gun, *KWC DE .50ae* and I let a friend try it, show him how to use it, how to rake the slide, what to press, and what not to press....

He loads mag in, rakes slide... fires... than rakes it again! I say no no that will double feed no need to do that... so whats he do? he pushes the mag release to try and clear it, with out holding the mag!

So now I have a new DE... with a banged up mag on the bottom.

So my pet peve, When I am not the first to mark up my new toys.

Yeah, exactly.
I mean if your doing an actual impression don't have a 69 era nam impression then run a G36c.

It's like saying I'm a Cop but wearing a clown suit. it's absolutely absurd and makes you look like a tard.

edit: and that video totally reminds me.
Airsofters who are always on full auto. Especially the ones that complain about ammo limits.
I don't even shoot that much when I rock the SAW and that's a support weapon!

There's a reason the only people I let use my guns are those who actually play airsoft. I also learned this the hard way.

when you've got the cash, you can't find what you want or end up having to compromise on picking up all you wanted. then after you've spent the money and waiting (impatiently I might add) for CP ... you find the deal of the century and can't do a thing about it! (luckily I found the deals on my airsoft stuff ... I'm talking hobby ordering in general LOL)

your first game, it's a decently large milsim, nerves are racked not to be a complete head in ass newbie... then in an ultimate moment of newbism you hold the trigger down full auto 20ft away lighting up a tree and the guy behind it while falling on your ass. THEN forget weither or not you apologized ... and THEN find out the guy was rather up the ranks in BCAC *hangs head* I'm sooooo sorry Crash! if I didn't apologize then :(

Wife says "yeah sure you can throw some cash into that airsoft thing and get a good proper loadout to go play with and not need to really buy anything else ".... followed up a week or so later by "you paid WHAT?!!??! for toy guns and a hobby!???" (mind you I'm used to this reaction as I've got several RC boats over 1K ;) )
