WOW dude, Fantastic loadouts and great pics. The last is definitely my favorite.

JohnGol10 July 31st, 2010 14:10

Yeah... great and all... but what up with the 'Special Forces Ranger Airborne'? What the hell?

'Special Forces Rangers' don't use IBA's, no M16's, and you guys definitely are not Special Forces, or Rangers. Not even 101st Abn.!

What is up with posing these days?

It's this thing called airsoft... :D

But yeah, too many skill tabs; with those load-outs, anything past Airborne doesn't really work. Although I suppose you could have a senior NCO that cycled back to an infantry unit, or an ossiffer that attended Ranger School.

Maybe, but in the first pic he's wearing a 1st Marine Division patch... so...

What the hell?

Umm... Um... It's on the right shoulder... So... Um... He served a combat tour with the Marines... Then re-enlisted in the Army...?

No... Yeah... That's just wrong.

JohnGol10 August 3rd, 2010 18:15

Arent we all?

JohnGol10 August 21st, 2010 21:56

Posing is usually recognized when you have unearned unit patches, skill tabs, ranks, medals, etc.

If you are just wearing gear, no one really cares.

This horse has been beaten to the point of death. Don't bring up the arguement again. This section is for pictures of loadouts and gear and discussions of gear. Not whether or not wearing patches is acceptable.

The OD green gear is for my cadpat loadouts. I eventually want to get coyote brown gear for my ACU loadouts. For now this gear works.

Nice. Massif ACS?

Hey John its actually a ACU Rothco combat shirt. Bottom of the barrel brand, but I was able to pick it up at the local ARMY/NAVY store so I was able to inspect the quality. The build quality feels good. Its very comfortable and cool to wear under my condor plate carrier. The sleeves have all of the velcro for name plates, rank, tabs and flags. It has shoulder zipper pockets and also reinforced elbows for abrasion resistance. I have a set of ACU's the color is only slightly different, but I have no idea if its different from so many washes or if its because of the different brand. All in all im very happy with it. The store also carried Rothco in MARPAT Woodland. Looked sweet. The base color is OD green so I might pick up a set.
