They are new to this, when I was dealing with them they were very unfamiliar with Paypal's functions, they didn't know how to cancel payments.

Have you notified them? There have been a few people who had issues with their purchases, and they've refunded them or sent them a replacement.

arman May 2nd, 2007 05:29

well i bought it like 3 month ago and it worked fine for 2 months then "it" started, i emailed them and th ey told me that i could pay to ship it back and they will take a look at it but they dont have to do anything. once it is fired its not their problem, but they did try to help i guess. i have a pretty good gun doc here in windsor so well see.

Porkchop May 4th, 2007 16:06

Reaction time to a problem I had was excellent. They issued the refund without any hassles.
Will deal with them in the future ( but only with item that they have instock)

Syn May 10th, 2007 20:34

sent them an email yesterday to prepay a G36c

Hello Stephen, Canada Customs is currently reassessing most products we have previously been able to import. We are expecting a delay of 3-6 months before we can start importing a full range of products again. Please keep posted to our website for monthly updates regarding our progress. We will however, continue to have other airsoft items available for purchase on BuyAirsoft.Ca. The BuyAirsoft.Ca Team~

***this sucks...***

Boarder May 10th, 2007 23:35

That sucks cause i pre-ordered a HFC M190!!!!!!!!!

vatek May 10th, 2007 23:43

Fucking Canada Customs...why can't they go after something else, like drug smuggling or illegal REAL firearms.

Well, if these guys were indeed labling Airsoft products as paintball products, doesn't surprise me.

Porkchop May 11th, 2007 07:38

Had a feeling that things were not as smooth, when they overran their estimated times of arrival.
In light of this last post I am doubly glad I asked for my money back right away.

I doubt they would dare to put that kind of markup on guns though. A $300 china AEG without an importation fee is insane profit.

Cheers,
Alex

yanhchan May 13th, 2007 08:26

Crap I'm waiting for a reply from them about a refund. They quoted me 30 days for the arrival of the item. Its only been 24 days or so but I just found out they're having trouble with customs now....craps

I don't know, it's just speculation on my part with nothing to back it up.

digital_blue May 13th, 2007 19:06

I have requested info about a gun and some parts that are in stock and they haven't responded since. That was about 3 days ago... Anyone have any problems contacting them recently?

Stone Evil May 13th, 2007 19:09

Wow...that's too bad. I knew something was up, as their site hasn't been updated in a long time.

dontask May 13th, 2007 19:21

assuming their stuff got caught at customs
that means all the guns they invested in will be destroyed by the crown?
and in addition to all the refunds they'll have to make won't that totally destroy their business?

Stone Evil May 13th, 2007 21:43

I know it only asks for speculation, but what makes this company go under investigation when others don't? Or have all others gone as well? Perhaps it is a stage that all stores in Canada go through. I have heard the same thing happened or is happeing to 007airsoft.com. Is that company still selling guns? I went to their site and under "In stock" it looked as though two were available. I just don't know if it is old stock or not. What about A& A Surplus...has anyone bought guns recently from them? have they been under investigation? If so, what were the law violoations if any, or recommendations made for them to remain a legal company?
I know warcraftgames had sold guns for a while but are only selling accessories at the moment. Recently the rifle part fo their site was up again after being closed, but seems to be missing once again.
I understand that the US has to have orange paint on the barrel ends, but it is not required in Canada. And although the G36C I got from buyairsoft.ca had no orange tip ( yay! ) other guns from this company have had them painted on. Do you think buyairsoft paints these on themselves to stay one step closer to the law, or maybe they get a lot of their stuff from the states?
What does a Canadian company have to do to avoid these sorts of complications and disruptions to their business?

most stores have been hit already in the past months
and buyairsoft were getting their stuff from the US

Spawn28 May 14th, 2007 08:36

Well when i purchased mine it was the only AEG available on there site. I purchased it on the 2nd of april and arrived april 15th there hasnt been a gun there since i know cause ive looked everyday and they have even removed the pics and reviews of it ...

yanhchan May 14th, 2007 18:03

Got a reply from them today saying they refunded me through paypal on May10th. The girl i got to pay for me is going to check tonight. I'm pissed though because I was really really looking forward to seeing that gun...

gamz May 15th, 2007 10:16

Any idea when they will be getting new stock?

SuperCkicken May 15th, 2007 10:21

i believe they said 3-6 months

digital_blue May 15th, 2007 15:53

I have finally received the info I was looking for. After several days! They claim to reply wthin 12 hours.......

yanhchan May 15th, 2007 15:54

3-6mths= end of airsoft season..

Hedonism Bot May 17th, 2007 05:15

the fact that they said 3-6 months suggests they are going through some sort of appeal process. If that is the case then I doubt they will ever be importing again as any appeal is sure to end with the current ban being upheld.

Sucks.

gamz May 17th, 2007 09:53

Oh well, it was good while it lasted. I wish I had picked up that L96 after all :(

There are multiple threads started about the l96 and about buyairsoft.ca. The search feature at the top of the page is there for a reason, use it. When the search feature there fails, google.ca never does.

Donster December 1st, 2007 17:16

there are reviews posted on the site about that rifle. as for finding them here, i don't know if the "ultimate" is the brand name, or just a showy title put there by BuyArisoft, so it would be difficult to find out which brand it is exactly. next time, but a DIRECT link to the site, such as this: http://buyairsoft.ca/catalog/product...roducts_id=138

so that we see exactly what you are talking about.

Relja December 1st, 2007 17:23

Its a Well l96. When/if they get their black airsoft back itll say its a well l96. Ive heard positive things about the gun and also a bit of negative, but for the price its pretty good.

how do you know its a well? if it truly is, i think i found my winter airsoft sniper rifle. i can't wait to camo it with white krylon paint. and its a much nicer price than A&A

Relja December 1st, 2007 18:03

I know its a well because i wanted to purchase one way back when they were selling black airsoft and the l96 which is the same picture and same info and same reviews was a well l96 shooting 460fps with .2s.

Donster December 1st, 2007 18:31

awesome, that will definately be my winter rifle for next season!

I sent a e-mail to buyairsoft.ca asking if the "Ultimate Bolt Action Sniper Rifle" is a Well L96. I guess it is because they added it in the description: http://buyairsoft.ca/catalog/product...roducts_id=138

Same here, thats why I ordered a metal body to go along with my Kraken clear AK-47. With new internals and everything else I'm looking at CDN$500 for a gun that if I bought JG and upgraded from there I would be at $800.

Dracheous December 4th, 2007 15:12

Thought you were just going to use the TM plastic body that you have kicking around LUTNIT?

I'll believe that when I see it happen. If they do start importing legally, guarenteed their prices are going to go up.

Oh I have little doubt about that, but I do hope that their prices will not go up too high, because it's good to have competition for something like this.

Hi i biught a bb gun from buyairsoft.ca i was wondering if they will send me a tracking number or some other way to track my order... and when i go on the site to see the status it says : PayPal IPN Verified [Completed
this is my first time buying from them so i was just wondering how long it usualy takes im in ontario

mike909 February 1st, 2008 10:00

it came out good in the end

m700murder May 31st, 2008 14:14

yea, you wrote a review on the VSR-10. you still have that, cuz man, i love that gun!

MickeyWang June 24th, 2008 23:43

Just wanted to post and say that I have had nothing but great service from Buyairsoft.ca. Both times I ordered I received a prompt email and my order was at my door in a few days. On my first order of a Kraken AK47 they even absorbed the extra cost of express post to get it to me on time. I will be using them again in the future for sure.

How come their pro grades airsoft guns are not in stock for a long time now? I've been waiting for there new stocks because I'm planning to buy an ICS mp5 sd6...I've been checking their website every single day and still it says, "temporarily out of stock" in all of their pro grade airsoft guns until now.

They will never be in stock. If you want a gun try getting age-verified and heading to the classifieds or shootsoft.ca.

So, BuyAirsoft.ca is still selling right? I understand they're not getting the ICS/other Pro Grade guns anymore but I would like to get the TSD MB03 (VSR) from them, since 007airsoft and Anderson & Anderson don't sell guns anymore. Has anyone ordered from them recently?

I grabed one,
what you get out the box is pretty good. nice rifle.
Once upgraded with a PDI hop-up unit, 6.01 PDI inner barrel and you reshim the inner barrel.
This weapon is deadly, shooting at 489 fps, 250+ ft with a 10" grouping.

when I get bored with it I'll give you first dibs on her Gamz.

Thanks, yeah, I just sent them a message and am waiting for them to respond. The TSD SD700 looks like a solid alternative to the Marui VSR-10 and for $300 less I think I'm gonna go for it.

buyairsoft.ca

Has anyone had any experiences (good or bad) with buyairsoft.ca? Fairly new to the sport and trying to buy a high quality aeg. I live close to calgary and was planning on buying from 007 but as i understand it he is haveing importation problems and is currently selling his on shelf stock only. any feed back that anyone might have about reliable suppliers would be greatly appreciated. Crappy paintbal fields pretty much rule this area but i know if i get a hold of some quality gear a lot of people will follow.

jaymz1911 August 4th, 2008 18:36

Search the forums.... there is alot about buyairsoft

Thorazine August 4th, 2008 18:37

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Use the search function. There are quite a few players in the Calgary area, and we are not overrun by paintball fields by any means.

To whom it may concern,

You are not going to get a warm welcome here if you don't do your research, read all the FAQ’s and STICKYS. SEARCH and GOOGLE are your friends! Honestly if you can't find the answer then yes post up, but most folks are not into spoon feeding the next "new guy" and you are just going to get flamed. Seriously all the questions you have have been asked a million times by a million different new people. As we have all said a million times get in touch with your local representative and get age verified. If you’re not 18 then you’re going to have to wait till you are, period.

Cheers and welcome to ASC

Scooby Steve August 4th, 2008 18:38

i tried searching the forums a bit but i couldnt quite get the answer Im looking for. i ordered a Walther cp99 w/ laser last Saturday (its been 4 business days). I tried using the tracking number they gave me for canadapost.ca, but nothing shows up. Can any one suggest whats going on? i know maybe im just a little anxious lol

roop August 7th, 2008 20:20

why dont you ask them? you didnt order it from here.

Disco_Dante August 7th, 2008 23:52

The CP99 is an airgun, not an airsoft gun.

No, he meant about the airgun. We don't deal with airguns here.

gabe_guitarded August 8th, 2008 17:16

I ordered from BuyAirsoft recently and I got my stuff. It's still best to get age verified and go to the classifieds if you're old enough because there's more high end guns and more selection. Also I think 007 is still slightly alive, he just go a couple of electric guns in, or maybe he just updated his stock to show what he had left..

Rawkout August 8th, 2008 17:22

o really my bad then, i didn't know

baker_Jeff August 8th, 2008 17:34

Yeah, shitty deal. You're going to want to email them to see if they have shipped it yet and if they can cancel. You won't be able to play airsoft with a gun that shoots metal BBs.

That's a joke when there's tons of place in Alberta, fields, forest, etc. and Battlefield is on August 16, 150 people, humvees, apc, etc.

Just a bit more info. You bought an airgun and it does shoot bbs, but only 4.5mm caliber METAL COATED bbs. You won't be able to use this at any airsoft game. Airguns usually fire copper coated BBs at speeds of 400 FPS - 550 FPS. These should never ever be fired at other human beings. Airsoft uses 6mm plastic bbs.

Never heard of them here either..
it's a good site if your looking for a sniper.. other
than that.. there's only one good mp5 and a Type 552
or something like that for AEGS.. but nothing else..
