Hint, I'm going for a look based on the call of duty character ghost ghost.

Ghost, eh?

Seriously, though... ACU works great up here, with all our bare rock and pale birch/poplar trees...

Isn't the acu camo for all purpose locations though like the woods, desert, snow, mountains (as in the photo) and city?

Btw I'm on my phone doing this so sorry if I screw up something in my posts

ACU works really great were frozen tex is(what i would give to play there), but ACU is the worst kind of camo to use in lush green areas. here is a pic of me in all ACU in a very green foest.

I mean my gun will be a p90 so I'm not going to be sitting somewhere all the time. I'll be moving around and plus with the winter coming it should help (got to love canada's long cold winters).

Anyways questions about my vest.

I emailed airsoft gi about this of which size would fit me (I'm a size XS/S (I can wear either size)) and got a reply saying of course it would fit me but one say from m-l so just want to double check with anyone on this forum if these vest will fit me

Also for the THIRD vest will that fit p90 mags diagonally?

Thank you!

those vest should fit you. im a smaller guy myself and i bought a medium OTV vest. and once i tightend up all the straps, it fit like a charm. so just tighten every thing up and it should fit you. and if it doesnt, send it back and get a smaller size. now about the p90 mags, thats a bit out of my leage. i no know nothing about p90's or the mags. sorry about that man.

Im in the same area as you, I assume your talking about playing at flagraiders?

Personally, i find Multicam (what i use) a much more useful camo in this part of the world, however, to each his own.

EDIT:

Also, Downside of multicam, its expensive, and if you don't buy real multicam, it will show.

To be honest, My best advice is to go to a game before you buy any gear. See what you like in person, See what you think looks best on the field. Every camo has its ups and downs, and every camo has different degrees of effectiveness depending on what part of the world your in, and what time of year it is.

heres a photo of me at a flagriaders game a couple weeks ago, I just got team-killed by accident by the guys to the left. We are all in Multicam. It gives you a good sense of the colours in this area In my opinion.

ACU = 'Ah Cee U!"

Thanks the guy, I'm sure with time change and current status of our region's weather, my current BDU loadout should be okay. I mean No offense but the image above looks like he is playing in a national park or public walkway.
Than again there is a public walking path through my friends property (pretty much his back yard), and its all forest partly and back onto the grand river, so I'll beable to see how well ACU loadsout blend in withthat type of playing field. And don't worry we've had paintball games in his backyard while people watching there dogs just stared. ohya he also has Offroad vehicles (ATv,s dirt bikes, a buggy kart, etc.). I should ask him about letting you guys (around the area) have a couple games in his backyard sometime haha I know thats were Im going when Im not at flag raiders

sticks November 1st, 2009 20:35

its a private field that i'm in. don't worry i would never play were the public could see us with our guns.
