Got it from Kalinka Optics.

The latch arm is prevented from rotating backward past a certain point by another latch, i need to somehow get the first latch past the 2nd latch. Im don't understand how to do this even though I'm reading the english translated version of the manual.

Ok, found guide on how to adjust it:

I have become GHK's biggest fan. Excellent quality stuff.

I must say, I love the worn finish on both the receiver and the furniture.

Off_kilter March 11th, 2013 12:43

Latvian those look sweet...tax return time a ghk will be mine!

Well got me a real (airsoft) ak finally. First one was a kraken (shhh)
Picked me up an LCT AKM (LCKM 2009 version as they call it)
Gotta say so far im impressed. Havent fired it yet tore it down swapped the inner and rubber and reasembled its definately solid and damn sexy. Here are some picks, now i just gotta wear it out a bit so it doesnt look so new and shiny.

Came with a highcap i swapped in one of my waffle mags

http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/a...311_204942.jpg
Nice wood grain and color (or colour if you prefer)

http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/a...311_204933.jpg
Propper selector and rivited body that an akm should have also think its the correct markings for auto and semi. Just needs the proper bakealite (or however its spelled grip that they offer (tho the stock one is close )
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/a...311_205028.jpg
Propper rear site including the "n" instead of "N" i see on alot of airsoft AK's.
So ima grab the other grip and they also have a bolt that adds to the realism of takedown.
For the most part it comes apart with latches like the real ak but has some grub screws.

Sory i guess i kinda turned this into a mini review lol
What do yall AK lovers think

Off_kilter March 11th, 2013 21:55

LCT are suppose to be right behind and ahead of in some cases VFC(extremely realistic takedown)

I have a LCT ak-74m on the way right now :)

Hectic March 11th, 2013 22:05

Nice i handled the 74nv and the rpk 74 and the next day bug the guy about a 47 unfortunately they dont make a 47 any more so i had to get the akm and so far it was worth the money. The assembly is quite realistic considering its airsoft and not gbb

The LCT RPK is solid out if the box. I have yet to do anything to it. Currently running it on a KA 11.1v 12c and .28 BBB's

One of the first things to do would be tighten and locktite the set screws holding the front set and the receiver together. My LCT RPK fell apart in the middle of a game because those screws came loose and then the front set just slide right off.

After that, if you want, you can wire it to the stock so you can use a bigger battery.

Funny you mention that, this happened to my Real Sword also during Rhino 2.. I was so scared I thought the screws stripped!

Checked them and they are fine. It's been through 2 24 hr milsims and a few skirmishes already.

How did you manage the wiring with the folding stock?

well, after the mod the stock no longer folds. But for the specifics, you would have to ask my gun doc, HKGhost

lol. was hoping you swapped stocks or something. I prefer the folding feature so the 11.1v 12c's are fine for now under the top cover. the intellect 7.4's 1100mAh also work fine in a pinch. anyway, I could always run the Echo1 RPK with the madbull 12.8v LFP if I need ridiculous ROF. :)

If you have a side mounted optic for the AK/RPK though, you lose the option to fold the stock anyways, so I wasnt too bothered by it.

minor internal upgrade to come.

The ak 74-su requires the expansion chamber muzzle brake to redirect enough gas through the piston to cycle the action.. the Pig looks ok on your gun.. but in reality it would render it a bolt action rifle.
