Awesome pics phalanix, i think im sold on acu now.

Considering how ACU blends in with dead foliage pretty well, I think it's safe to say if the US has any sort of future engagement in wooded areas, they'll just bomb the hell out of it first. :grin:

ya on the last pic if you didnt centre the camera on the person i wouldnt have been able to find him as easily. lookin good baby!! getting my ACU bladetech in a few weeks!! mmmmm chest mounted acu holster.......

There are actually 2 guys in ACU in that last picture. Although the 2nd guy may be harder to see due to the resolution of the picture. But even in the full resolution photo, it's pretty hard to see.

that third shot is fantastic man! I'm actually amazed at how well ACU works in the fall/early spring. I may not be sold yet, but the more I see it the less I hate it..

Oh, and damed you for selling me on the bladetech sock! I need it for this weekend!

I was wearing a body armour by Tiger Tactical, and a SDS FLCV with AITES pouches.

Edit: Oh, and a CamelBack M.U.L.E.

I bought an ACU uniform. I was curious about it, and I dig camo patterns.

My own ACU uniform looked terrible for a woodland environment when I first got it. I said the same thing as many opponents of the pattern - "it's too bright / grey". It took me a while, I but I finally figured out how to make ACU 'work': I have to wear it.

haha that sounds so dumb! My point is that the pattern picks up with general use - grass and dirt stains are transforming the material into an extremely effective pattern. I think that explains the unusual color choices.

Pretty soon, I think it's going to be perfect. I thought that was cool, anyway. None of my other camo patterns are so ... sciencey.
