just curious, what kinda mag is the ar15 aeg using?

Looked like a standard AEG mag to me which would be a real bonus.

yes and no...

yes because they are much more affordable and everywhere around
but
no because if you want a bolt catch you need a gbbr-ish mag style..plus you don't lose 5rounds in the hop up.

Stealthee March 30th, 2011 13:05

I really want the RS gas M4s..

Doesn't look like it has a bolt stop....The bolt was going back and forth with an empty mag...Yes I know if it's like a gas mag it might have a switch but I am guessing they may have a different method of locking the bolt back...Mosfet? who knows but I for one am interested in this "hybrid" Option.

kullwarrior March 30th, 2011 16:53

If only their AEG M4 uses PTW mag...

Pending reviews and reliability, not to mention price...

yeah...that'll cost a lot for sure, but if its at least as reliable as their AKs... I'm willing to pay a high price. We'll see :p

My issue is mags as well, from the reviews I've read their AK's are finiky and picky with mags, It looks like a standard M4 AEG mag. but who knows

Oh well...if it is the only issue with them...I'm just going to buy the good brand of mags that will be known to work from the reviews :p

You can't complain about the RS AK mags though. They feed in other brands of AK and they have a stamped steel shell.

THe_Silencer March 30th, 2011 21:13

From the looks of it, it's probably going to cost $1000+. Since it's RS it's probably worth it.

I would say around 600 usd, lets hope not.
Anyway it looks like is gonna be something similar to the Top Magpul- non shell ejecting M4 of this video.

If it's 600 US then I wouldn't be surprised if it cost over a grand here.
