I have a third one in the work, with correct body markings this time. It will based on a Vipertech M4, custom markings done by Vipertech before the anodising is done, steel barrel and so on. I'll post pictures... V |
Hi
Well, got pictures from Viper Tech of my custom lower receiver. It's close but no cigar so they'll be doing another one. The faulty one : http://i905.photobucket.com/albums/a.../vipertech.jpg They also repeated the selector markings on the right side of the receiver which is not correct for the C8. They are really super friendly so I should finally be able to get a super accurate C8A3 GBBR... Vincent |

Thanks guys !
Next step is to modify a WA steel outer barrel to take the FTHB extension and seems that we are set... Vincent |
looks spot on. very impressive.
and to answer your question from the first post yes they are using the molded OD plastics on all of the furnitures now |
Hi
More progress (they did a new lower receiver because the one I posted pictures earlier was off specs) http://i905.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/IMG_0610.jpg Still working on the outer barrel problem I'll also get soon the correct receiver extension lock ring (not the castle nut as used on the M4) V |
wow very good stuff!! how much did the lower run you? i wish we could get a lower like that in country...
|
God damn that is a fine piece.

Hi !
The C8A3 based pn the Viper M4 is nearly finished. The outer barrel is been modified as we speak so it will be installed soon but I don't have it yet. http://i905.photobucket.com/albums/a...rgant/c8a3.jpg My RS Elcan has received its green rubber sleeve so it it is now a C79A2, well extrenally speaking since the mount is still a C79 one (not too important as both bases are externally identicals) Then a Canadian PRR H4855 modded. The internals of the PRR module has been gutted and rewired for my Cavalvy set and my Motorola radio. Works like a charm and is externally correct http://i905.photobucket.com/albums/a...organt/prr.jpg Hope you like it ! As for the earlier question, the custom receiver was around 200usd with port included... Vincent |
