how are you liking the mag changes?
|
Easy now that I filed down the tabs. It's just the front hinge that slows it down.

Taking photos of your awesome PP19 instead of coming to Jack Astors ehhhh Boren? Well, can't really hold a grudge it's an awesome looking toy, I look forward to seeing it in person!

I'm liking it...except for the flashiders.
Give us some specs and any pluses and minuses wthat you discovered with your parts. |
I bought a JG AK74 on a great deal during Black Friday, not bad construction..steel...instead of crappy pot metal. It is the EBB version, which doesn't bother me too much, but from what i head can wear out your gearbox faster. The folding stock i find is a little wobbly, but nothing I am too picky about. The Dboys GP-25 had some fitting issues, but nothing a little grinding didn't fix. I modified the stock foregrip to use side rails ( to attach a tac light). I have had no magazine compatibility issues, different brands, diffrerent caps. It originally came with a plastic orange tip, and i had no ak replacements, I tried a PTS diablo flash hider I had lying around. I have gotten to really like that look. Other than that i am looking to add or subtract pieces to finalize the configuration.

Just picked up a GHK ak74u, Manual says to use silicone oil for the hop up rubber and use normal oil for the metal parts that rub each other. So can I use white grease for the metal parts is that okay?
Thanks alot |
