Not yet. Peeking inside Armalite internals is a concept that truly scares me, despite people calling them 'lego' and whatnot. MP5s and AKs are one thing, but this... I'll have to look into it later on. Thanks, though.

You don't need to get inside the gun for that, it's the hex screw at the bottom of your pistol grip. You tweak it until you get a better sound from your motor and less of a whine.

Seriously? Fuck, that's ridiculously simple, cheers- I'll get around to that ASAP.

TokyoSeven June 11th, 2008 03:09

Oh yeah, grab a screw driver and have at it.

Bob the Angry Potato June 12th, 2008 22:08

Sound hasn't improved.
Fuck it, Other people can live with the sound, but I can't- I'm trading it for the G&P on the last page in about a month.

KSC TMP!

Boosh!

Sergeantmajor June 18th, 2008 00:53

You'll be needing another TMP, your cat has gone gangsta on you and just shotgunned you that SMG.

Non Credo June 18th, 2008 01:37

they speak the truth. A standard grip will have either a hex screw or flathead screw on the bottom, twist in or out until it sounds pretty. if its a high speed motor, it will scream, this is normal. if the sound persists, that grip is ungodly simple, remove the two screws at the front and back of the bottom of the grip and make sure there is a thin metal plate sitting between the motor adjustment screw and the bottom of the motor itself. If there is, your gears may be trying to tell you theyve had enough of each other.

Bob the Angry Potato June 18th, 2008 12:20

Hahha, thanks guys.

Anyways, debating between where to order the charging handle from, either from a fellow on Arnies or Tirador, pends price and the amount of time it'll take.
The TMP will still cock from the side.

Need to learn how to juggle.

2 of these have been reacquisitioned by a certain someone on these boards, I can't stand AEG SMGs. Takes the fun out of it.

Motaal June 21st, 2008 23:58

Hahahha, your fault.

Here's the workhorse. Never jammed or misfed a round, been kicking through tens of thousands of rounds for the last 3 years happily. Probably one of the best and user-friendliest stock AEGs I've ever used.

Sniper/DMR set- rifle been reaquisitioned by a team hopeful, G3 (yes, it is full metal and wood) goes out in 20 days to an NB chap.

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...F/DSCN0937.jpg

Best pistol I own. Can peg targets quite consistently at hilarious ranges- it just needs a compensator, which is a bit of a problem.

Arthraxis June 22nd, 2008 12:57

Any more pics of that G3? Why does the Famas look multicoloured?
