Awesome....I don't own one yet but I would love to have a classic wwii esque looking colt 1911(full metal of course). What are your recommendations brand wise? I don't know which companies make the best ones.

I have personal experience with NOVA, Creation, and Guarder. Both the NOVA and Creation kits have excellent finishes to them which make them really nice to use. They are also extremely easy to put together and have little to no problems during that process, while Guarder needs a destructive modification done to the blowback unit before things can fit (with some filing here and there. NOVA and Creation kits are also quite resilient to normal wear and tear, unlike the Guarder kits which are less durable in comparison.
