How did you acquire that kit? AFAIK all that kit is supposed to remain in Afghanistan so the troops overseas can use them..

I'm surprised you're getting so little interest. I think you guys just need some more publicity.

It is. Everyone returns them prior to leaving theater (Green and Tan covers).

Hmm. Odd isn't it?

To clarify. I have a bran dnew out of the bag vest, and there is no removable collar. A lot of people leave the inserts out of the collar, and stuff it under. But this is HIGHLY frowned uppon. to a point where charges can be laid.

As for the brassards they are pretty nice. Bit of a pain in the ass yes, but worth it for covering the hole. As long as they are sized properly.

I can take pics of which ever you want. Come to think of it, in either Arid or TW I have both complete sets sitting here.
However the color wouldnt matter for measurements. lol

I could only find a mag for size comparison, let me know if you need specific, I will find a ruler and upload better shots.

Shots of the brassard. the lower strap snaps across the font but rotates around when worn.

If the price is for $140 I'm down with money in hand.

And while I'm here. Why not start a new post in the for gear for sale section that has all the information and pics in one place. You might get more responses that way. Much like your other info thread but with a price. We could make that one the sign up thread as well.

New bits have been posted to Arnie's, Arnie's News, Airsoftnew.eu and a few podcasts.

Rusty got spanked for posting a for sale thread a few weeks ago, so I think he's avoiding that option.

So we've got 4 for large and 3 for small and 1 fence sitter.

Quick question. How do you have those? They are for in theater issue and are to be returned at the end of tour. You come in wearing Green PPE and leave wearing Green PPE. All Tan covers are issued from Supply in theater and that goes for everyone from the Battlegroup, OMLT, NSE, ect.

If in theory as you state a person can only access this theatre, and I have access to it..

A conclusion as to how I have it. Should be fairly obvious

Edit:
lol sorry for the sarcasm.
I work on the c-130 and am stationed in KAF right now.
I fly regularly to FOBs and am regularly off the a/c
there for I have full issue of this gear.

I am airforce, and I have it. I don't think any of my Army brethren are ate a loss anymore. Stock seems to have grown a lot as of late.

I won't be bringing tan brassards to canada with me. but I will have all the green crap, so I can easily measure anything as needed.

The neck cover seemes to be different from the older style which were a 2 piece overlapping afair......corrrect?

PrIeSt February 19th, 2011 14:06

I have not seen the old one. this works quite well. I'll try an dpost a pic of me kitted up.

single piece that snaps on each side and in the chest.

two snap locations on the chest offer a high/low mount option.

as well as two snaps on each side offer a tight/loose fitting.

I'll take more pics tonight and upload tomorrow when I have better internet speed.

i.e. late tonight for you guys :)
